 A fully accessible church, St. Matthew is located 1 mile south of the I-94 St. Clair exit, just off Palms Road.

St. Matthew is a small rural church serving the community of Adair and surrounding areas.  Established in 1899, it has a rich German heritage.  Services were originally conducted in German when St. Matthew was The First German Evangelical Church of Adair.  The original bell still calls worshipers to service on Sunday mornings.

 ~ Sunday School     9:15 a.m. (ages 3-13)  *Sunday School has recessed for the summer and resume in September.
 ~ Summer Worship Service   10:00 a.m.  *regular time of 10:30 a.m. resumes in September
